Farm School Caregiver & Me Program
For Ages 18 months to 4 years of age
Starting in January
Mondays at 10am
$50 per class, billed monthly
Tuition includes one child and one caregiver
Meets each Monday except for the third Monday of each month
$25 One time annual registration fee to cover Farm School t-shirt & supplies
What is Farm School OC?
Farm School OC is a one-of-a-kind experience for children ages 18 months to 9 years of age at Zoomars at River Ranch in San Juan Capistrano.
Animals and farming are the heart of our programs.
Our goal at Farm School OC is to nurture empathy and compassion for animals, to model an appreciation for farming, sustainability, buying local, eating healthy and making the world a better place.
At Farm School OC the students feed, brush and interact with the animals daily which teaches empathy and compassion. It also improves a child’s social skills and increases motivation and learning.
As often as possible the students also help prepare fresh food, learn about where it comes from and then get to try it out. When students learn about farming, where food comes from and how it is grown, they are more likely to taste new foods and build a foundation of lifelong healthy eating choices.
Our caregiver and me Farm School OC program is a great introduction to teaching your child healthy eating, where our food comes from and compassion and care towards animals!
Daily our Mommy & Me students will learn with a hands-on lesson, music, arts & crafts & get to spend time brushing, feeding and caring for the animals at Zoomars!
We believe that children need to have fun while learning so everyday is fun and educational on the farm!
