Welcome to Farm School OC!
Farm School OC is a one-of-a-kind experience for children ages 18 months through 12 years of age at Zoomars at River Street Ranch in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Animals and farming are the heart of our programs.
Our goal at Farm School OC is to nurture empathy and compassion for animals, to model an appreciation for farming, sustainability, buying local, eating healthy and making the world a better place.
Farm To School Morning Program
Wednesdays
Our Farm To School morning program on Wednesdays is for students from 7 to 12 years of age.
Students will have culinary experiences with seasonal produce, hands-on science experiments, agriculture lessons & in-depth lessons on animals and their behaviors. Arts & crafts will also be a part of our daily learning.
This program will be geared more to our older learners and will allow them more in-depth lessons while still sharing all the same goals and philosophies of our other Farm School OC programs.
This program will be taught each Wednesday from 10:30 to 1:30.
Trial days are available on our website and charter school funds are accepted.
Farm To School Morning Program
Mondays & Tuesdays
Our Farm to school morning program on Mondays and Tuesdays is for students 3 1/2 to 7 years of age!
Our program offers an immersive farm-to-school experience. Kids will learn about gardening, farming, animal care, and more through hands-on activities and interactions with animals. Our program focuses on sustainable and organic practices while teaching children about the importance of agriculture and the environment.
Children will have the opportunity to grow their own vegetables, learn about composting and soil health and develop a love and respect for animals.
Music, arts & crafts and story-time are also a part of our daily curriculum.
This program is currently being offered Mondays & Tuesdays from 10:30 to 1:30.
We are currently gathering an interest list for Thursday classes so please send us an email if you would like to be added to this interest list.
One to two day a week options available. Trial days also available on our website. and charter school funds are accepted!
Farm School OC Caregiver & Me Program
This class is meant for our youngest farmers!
Join us for our caregiver & me program for children 18 months to 4 years of age with their caregiver!
Class meets Mondays 10am to 11am and includes a small lesson on healthy eating, gardening & animal care and compassion! Students will taste seasonal produce each week!

Our Farm School OC camps are the perfect place for your animal loving child!
Each day includes different hands-on activities where children will learn about agriculture, composting, animal care, and healthy eating. Children will help prepare healthy recipes and try out produce sourced from our local farms.
Our campers will also spend time feeding, petting and caring for the Zoomars animals daily.
Your child will leave our camp with a newfound appreciation for nature and a deeper understanding of where their food comes from.
